Sam Jaques

Sam Jaques completed degrees in biology and mathematics at the University of Regina in Canada, and continues to study math at the University of Waterloo. He is interested in the control of information, and his research focuses on cryptography. His side projects have included hospital waiting queues, carbon emission economics, and entomophagy. He likes maps, flashcards, and algorithms. He supports the Effective Altruism movement.
